On the Road to Damascus The road from nowhere Leads straight to hell Salvation fully found Isn’t pretty To those who fell On the road to Damascus In the desert heat With every gun blazing Blood flowing at your feet A sudden blinding light And a voice from the sky The burning bush keeps talking And everybody dies The road from the past Points onward to peace. © 2005 Dayvid Graybill
