Solitude Solitude One and only and only one And no one else but me This wheel’s on fire Flying east Heading for the sea Of Galilee And no one else but Jee Sus and the devil too Pinnacle up high Solitary angel Caught him on the fly All alone No place to go Road feels wet and warm She rubs my feet with Her hair We both feel so forlorn Kiss my lips And don’t you go Without dying on the cross Alone with God Just hanging there Such a dreadful loss She turned Smiling from her eyes Uncovered breasts on fire Alone with God Upon the cross Rekindled my desire © 2007 Dayvid Graybill
