For some people one is not enough. For me one is more than I can handle, and I like it that way!
The Sound of Boots Slow motion day In the quiet hot summer air. Windows open for the absent breeze She waits in quiet heat for the sound of his boots on the porch. The clock on the wall hasn’t moved since her last glance. The kids were at school and her man at work. Then the sound of wheels turning in the lane. She stood in the doorway watching the dust rising from behind his car. The hard, punctual sound of his boots on the floor. Curtains blowing Sweet sounds flow Bodies swirling Hot and moist from lips to lips Clock hands spinning The sound of boots across the porch. She waits in quiet heat. She hears his car leave. Peacefully naked on the bed She glances at the clock on the wall. © 2007 Dayvid Graybill

One heck of a creation Dayvid, sometimes when we hear boots, they might be headed straight for someones butt, could be ours. I like to hear boots or heels coming so as to look and see a beautiful woman in the shoes, helps lift away my blues, cheers
