Wet Canvas

Some days I just feel colors.

Wet Canvas

 

Blue upon blue,

and black upon black.

Turn it around,

Look on the back.

 

The man runs across canvas

wearing only one shoe.

White tiger crouching

covered in blue.

 

Fearful of nothing.

can’t find the wall.

Running, running, running,

Screaming, “Don’t fall!”

 

Open it up

Open the door!

Blue covering black.

Paint drips on the floor.

I have similar experiences with color in my mind, and it is a wonderful gift to have. Your writing shows your freedom to express and it can be taken many ways...I like that. It causes visual perceptions--very cool writing.
