Don't go gettin' all tricky on me...I was just starting to have an understanding and then....
It is true the many things we write to express feelings, emotions, imaginations and so many other things of our presence appear often to be a clear expression--not so, many of them are far from the literal sense. Stop telling our secrets, Dayvid...people will start to speak metaphorically.
Indeed, poetry is a wild form of expression and no amount of censorship can tame what's inside the poet's mind...well-written poetry should teach and the reader should walk away educated to begin new journeys, not be locked in some fucking religious dogma by those narrow minded and uneducated spreading religious propaganda that is false and skewed...Dayvid Gray reports in his poetry, the facts of what is churning in his mind!
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
