This is a song I wrote for Gia Carangi. She was a top model in the late 70s who lived hard and died young. She had so much heart!

Gia Sultry, pouting, smiling. Oh what a pretty face Wild, untamed at seventeen Hiding under your veil of lace. Oh Oh Oh Gia Gia Why did you have to leave? Oh Oh Oh Gia Gia What were you hiding under your sleeve? Sadness flowing from your eyes Tears rolling down your cheeks Cameras flashing all around Sensuous body for all to see. Oh Oh Oh, Gia, Gia Love, just a fleeting touch. Oh Oh Oh Gia, Gia Life was such a rush. You gave us such happiness While your heart was broke Darkness and light followed you As your own hand wrote. Oh Oh Oh, Gia, Gia You kept your heart locked up Oh Oh Oh Gia, Gia You were already on top. Oh Oh Oh, Gia, Gia Spread your wings and fly Oh Oh Oh Gia, Gia The stars are on your side. I saw the movie Gia based on Gia...why did things go so wrong for the beauty? Well she's with the angels now spinning threads from her hair to keep Hollywood together...it'll take a lot of thread, for it is such a mess...lovely tribute, Dayvid...
