I'm Calling You Out! I'm calling you out! Come on out here And show yourself! I'm not afraid. The stranger among us Some unknown terrorist The murderer hiding in the corner That rapist on the news at 6. I'm calling you out! Show your ugly face! Where are you tonight? I'm not afraid. My arms are open My love for you pouring out Vulnerability standing its ground My transparency waiting. I'm calling you out! Hit me! Hit me from behind! You are not big enough. I'm not afraid. Why are you afraid of me? Come stand in the light See my strength in my love Look at my eyes. I stand before you Hands open, arms out wide I can't hurt you Only offer you, who fear, my love. Mighty words, indeed. Nonviolence is the way to go, but there's a certain violence in the force of your words. If you mean that you have a higher force behind you, you may be mistaken and blindsided because there is no higher force there. As Gandhi and Martin Luther King proved, nonviolence only works when you have huge throngs of people participating and some get hurt very badly.
