As the flames danced to the fragile tune of my distant memories
I gazed hypnotically into their yellow-white heat and saw my life there
A troubling reminder of my past... and of my present
I struggled to understand what new path I must take

And, as the flames danced, I opened my heart to listen

Suddenly, there in the old fireplace, I could see my future as if it were today
A vision of what I could be came clearly to me and filled me with hope
Now, I understood everything; I could make new and wise choices

And, as the flames danced, I opened my heart to listen

I know, now, that I can do... and be... whatever I want
I realize, now, that I am stronger than I ever imagined
I know, now, that I can finally be free to be... me

And, as the flames danced
To the harmonious tune of my most sought after dreams

There is a newfound peace within myself, now...
It is all so clear...
All I have to do...
