Just she and her own punishment.
This blade is her salvation.
The blood is washing away her sins,
Cleansing her soul.

She's sorry Mom, Dad, Brothers and Babies.
It just hurts too much to be her.
She's cutting away the ugliness, the disappointment, the secrets.
Trying to stop the voices screaming,
Even if the only voice is her own.

She’s only silent when she cries.
She’s only peaceful when she sleeps.
She only stops hurting when…
She never stops.

It says it’ll only go away when she does.

Someone just hug her...
Kiss her..
For no reason at all.
Tell her you love her.

Cause she loves you...every one of you.

Mariah, one of these days you will awake with "A Heartful Of Love", and these tears will fade into laughter. I know others often do not exhibit all the love that is inside of them. Just remain true to your self and love them. Bill

Mariah,
Very poignant and powerful piece. It is sad to see someone punish themselves for something that is forgiven but sometimes it is the only way one can forgive themselves.

Mariah!

This one is very powerful indeed!
You know the wounds are always deep and that most people can only relate their tears to you/through you.You understand parts of us that we can't relate to.I love you.You....here is the line of my heart drawn in the air with a digital brush....moving to complete the heart....as you and Raphael complete my circle of love.
