With ardent eyes,
She glanced towards him,
And then past…
To some point beyond,
Where, he couldn’t see.
And there, the look vanished.
Was that transfixion meant for him?
Or was he imagining things again?
There she was again, with just enough grace.
Perchance a fabrication from his one reoccurring dream.
Agonizingly out of touch,
Floating about the room.
She kissed him like friends do.
But did her lips linger still?
A soft sigh passing,
Silently asking for more than she could understand.
Her voice as calm and soothing,
Like a baby’s lullaby,
He longs to hear whispered to him in the dark.
For now, his heart beats for her behind a shadow of curtains.
It hides waiting, for her to move…
Closer.

Ah, the intrigues and paranonia of dealing with the opposite sex. Very good rendition.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
