The voyeuristic beauty of sitting on your windowsill,
Watching you sleep.
My heart beating lightly like the rain on the glass pane,
Casting subdued shadows on the wall,
Waiting for your attention.

Line after line, they fall like ghostly paths down your body.
A body I will soon have the pleasure of retracing,
If only you would let me in.

My palm is wet and sliding down as I tap on the window.
A secret smile shows itself but you refuse to look up…
A silent recognition.
And it’s torturing me.

You move so close…
Only an inch of transluminal facets interfere with my touch.
And I can almost feel your warmth.
Please let me in…

I close my eyes in anticipation.
Lustful as your soft hand envelops mine and pulls me inside.
Thus, I remain your King, kneeling before you.
Waiting…

Smitten.

Morn"n Mariah,

Exceptional and awesome write. I wish others knew you like me but it takes a mom to really know her child. Your poetry is far better than the first time you started writing and your maturity with emotions still goes beyond the norm.

Very well done!

Love,
Mom
