Call again, I will be here.
I already lost what I hold dear,
I can’t believe your smile has run away from me.

And if it takes me down to the ground, I will not fear.

Pity my hands and wash them in the rain.
The clouds are weeping as I pass them by.
Nothing the heavens can bring me will lessen my pain.
Angels leave me where I lie.

There’s no other way I deserve to die.

A bad man does no good for the one he tries to love,
He’s the needle in the heart of the dove.
Can’t hold her with hands that are stained red.
The blind can’t see where their lives have led.

But when time slips through the fingers of the weary,
They do not cry.

She will come again after all the damage is done.
To pick up the pieces of the broken man you’ve become.
A touch as sweet as grace,
Something deep inside...
Is revived.

Another chance at life.

As our friend Felix says, "You spin this tale of heartache and hope together like a master spinner spins the fine threads of wool to make cashmere."
Ypuu are a wonderful stroy teller Mariah. You soar above many with your creative images.

You spin this tale of heartache and hope together like a master spinner spins the fine threads of wool to make cashmere. The word images are sharp and crisp, the comparisons focussed and the theme real. Well done Mariah.
Felix
