Even the living could feel it.
The coming of the dead,
On the eve of eternal life.

Like two ghosts dancing in a haunted ballroom.
It cursed the horizon,
Shattering all the same.
Until the stars fell from the sky and littered the floor,
...With night-light.

After the suspension of disbelief is gone,
The dream is over,
And you’re still hung in the mist.
Laying witness to the song.

Any sudden movement,
Will cause the slightest tear in the fabric of time.
And you’re left breathless...

The sound is entrancing...
More than just soulless voices floating across the room.

When it was all said and done,
In the remnants of the celestial rain,
The air stilled around them,
And they faded from sight...

Blowing away with the moan of the wind.

Spirits and cellestial flying is all a mystery man knows little or nothing about. You gave us a wow of a ride my dearest Mariah and it doesn't seem, at all, an adventure we should be frightened about.
Love,
Mom

Eerie and just dripping with the season's spell of the unknown. Well done Mariah.
