On all hollow’s eve…
Beneath the surface of the moon,
And between the halo of scars,
A culprit hides behind the gloom.

Night’s alight with flames afar.
A brilliant mask…
For the dark side of stars.

They wait and they watch,
As their victims run and play.
With ghoulish little faces,
To frighten each other away.

The stars will wink while they hold at bay,
Lurking and smirking…
As they stalk their little prey.

From the clouds,
Their shrieks are so loud,
As they plunder from door to door.

All the while,
The stars, they smile,
Revealing what they really are.
Because, who would’ve known,
The part that was shown,
Was the treacherous, and lecherous,

Dark side of stars…
