You are so spot on with this write and sentiment, Anita! "C'mon people", I can hear Him say: "Lighten up a little!" (sorry, but especially the Christians, I have to add...that includes me for sure!!) Have you heard of the so-called "Toronto Blessing" of ten years' ago? When God poured out His Spirit at the Airport Vineyard Church so much so as to affirm people in the knowledge of His real love for them? Most manifestations of this came in the form of irrepressible laughter and a deep inner joy that was beyond that previously known - so the reports go. And, apparently, it's still going on today and peeps are still flocking to see the work of this God who laughs - not at us but with us!! After all, we were His idea in the first place, so He must be a humorist!! Thank you for debunking the myth that God is a legalist and a killjoy; was Jesus ever like that? RELIGION may be, but He is not, for sure! Sadly, the two do not always go together and for that, as a Christian, I must apologise!! Here's to a bit more joy! Bless you. Kate xx

It sure is more admirable than crying over ourselves.
Some of us poets, though, tend to excel in "crying" poems...
especially the depressed.

He surely has, he made me, and who else would invent natural bubbles in bath, without a sense of humour.

Being able to laugh at ones self is a life saver.
