Reading made Don Quixote a gentleman, but believing what he read made him mad. George Bernard Shaw

THIS FOOL CAN READ!

Corkscrews, and gravel
Descend, roll, and travel
To impressions I've lodged in my mind
If I had the spark, to light up this dark
Who knows, if I'd like...... what I'd find!!

If left alone, with darkness as home
Might words start straining for light?
By scribing of prose, my memories roam
And this fool can read......what she writes!!!

HaaaHaaaMuuu!!

DID I JUST WRITE THAT???

It is what you read when you don't have to that determines what you will be when you can't help it. Oscar Wilde

(thats funny!)

You are soooooo unique Anita... and everything you say, do, write packs such a punch in your inimitable way. Apart from all that, you are one helluva poet and wordsmith, let alone idea-smith. Are you related to the Marx Brothers, by any chance... especially Groucho? Would love to know what you DO read that you don't have to that makes you tick in the wonderful way that you do...the small print on legal documents...? Nooooooo!!!!!! On second thoughts, maybe... Wait a minute! You changed your laugh. We must check your Mr. Piddles contract to see if that is allowed!

Quite an interesting write, and of course, I love the quotes.
