HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT......OF DOING IT NOW

Remember your days, as a child

When time was free and dreams were wild

And small events would path delight

Towards new adventures....day or night

Ever believe that you could fly

Grab your umbrella.....leap and try

Pretend from beginning.....pretend to end

Follow that rainbow.......over the bend

Was there magic in your fingertips

Could you clap your hands and take a trip

What would appear when your fingers were snapped

A lion, a swan or a monkey capped

Could you close your eyes and see stars spin

Like fireworks in twlight dim

Could you talk to the air.........or bounce on a cloud

Have you ever thought..............of doing it now?

I still do, Ms. Lady A... I love the way you did the questioning, each rich with visuals and poetic musings... it's one thing to write the words, it's entirely something else to be able to give a reader something to 'look at'... to imagine and believe. This will look nice on my "library shelf"... (smile) katy xox

Lady A,

There is a smile as wide as Texas on my face--and yes, I still let my imagination take flight! An excellent, wonderful tribute to being forever a child, no matter your true age--thank you, Poet and friend!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)

A good message in this one Lady, all too often we forget to be children and as a result lose the wonder of childhood that always is just below our surface as adults.

Thoughts definately have power! This is the magic that children create. A great reminder, Anita, thank you...

Definitely, my friend! I do it constantly... and it's indeed pure magic. And I know that you know that we have this power, if we'll only try. How do I know that you know? Because you wrote this wonderful poem.
