 To Myself

I want so badly  to feel inspired once again
To be moved by words, or vision
To be lead by the music of an invisible piper
I want to crave the feel of words, smooth as pearls
Roll  them around in my mind, watching reflections
Shimmering on the curve of creation
I want a veil  of thread to cover my eyes
Loosely woven, so I can indulge my reveries
While I function on this earthly plane
I want the wind to whiper to me, only to me
Telling me, what it wants me to hear
For it  once held a special message for me
And I always heard it, for it sighed for me, and me alone
I want the earth to vibrate gentle communications
And the waters to baptize me with mists of inspirations
I need to smile at the absurb  again, and join  it in communion
To laugh at my self, from my soul, without judgment or  dismissal
I want my days to be pages, filled, as I chose
In consistant dedication of living
Allowing for the random page of albino rest
For those pages may look untouched, yet will read visible to me
I want to be aware, of the moment, of the  past, of tomorrow
I want the light, to glow again
To guide me
To myself

A melancholy piece reminding me of George Harrison's The Inner Light:
'Without going out of your door, you can know all things on earth, without looking out of your window, you can know the ways of heaven. The farther one travels, the less one knows - arrive without travelling, see all without looking, do all without doing.'

I occasionally wonder from myself for the sake of preserving sanity. I look back at the momentary lapse of the guy I've just left behind and mutter, 'must keep out of his shoes; always stepping on toes.'
Now I've slipped off my jaded bohemian persona and stepped instead into a refreshing and recharging conformist suit, at least for a bit.

In due course you will rediscover and hit the lightswitch to the path that has already been uniquely mapped out before you.

90-THERE ARE SO MANY WORDS THAT ATTEMPT TO BRING YOU TO AN UNDERSTANDING OF DESIRE-ALONG THE WAY YOU TAKE A JOURNEY TO ANOTHER PLACE WHICH HAVE NO WORDS-NO PICTURES-NO SOUNDS-THIS PLACE IS WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE ESSENCE OF DESIRE-ALLOW YOURSELF TO PERUSE THIS GLORIOUS AND FILLED WITH GRACE CORE WITHIN YOURSELF- {beautiful} evol=love - Ted

The artistic mind is constantly in a state of flux, training us to see new perspectives and express in unique ways. Apathy and sameness will kill any true artistic endeavor.

The hardest thing in my estimation, (and I've had a lot of experience), is when the artistic mind becomes introverted and the feelings we expect to be associated with what we are doing are not there.

Our feelings oftentimes deceive us. But if our minds keep our hearts disciplined, and we know for certain what the heart is responsible for, and what the mind is responsible for, then the soul will glean what it needs to accomplish what it has too.

This is deeply introspective Anita. You are growing! Continue writing about the process and sharing it.

You show the capacity to see deeply within yourself and identify your own yearnings. The light will "glow again" and it will guide you. It's guiding you even now, in this lovely piece of introspection. Well done Anita!
