Beneath the outer shell lies the divine.  When you look into a child's eyes you can see heaven.  But sometimes you really gotta look!!! LOL.........Pax A

Falling In Daycare

It's Monday morning little ones
Hope your weekend was big fun
Early birds with energy
Act like it's not six, but three

Everyday begins the same
Until they fuss and then complain
Poor little ones have such long days
Which does explain, their edgy ways

Be safe, be safe
Be patient, wait
Don't jump the gun
Please walk, don't run

The thing to learn
It's not your turn
Hands to yourself
Impulse on shelf

Don't hit or spit
Be still just sit
Sometimes we share
At others, stare

No nasty words
You may have heard
No finger guns
Just number one

Don't climb the table
Just cuz your able
No calling names
In spitefull games

Don't throw your toys
Come on now boys
Or it's time out
Oh how they pout

All this before they get to class
Coats and bookbags, what a task
Shoving, pushing down the hall
September comes, and then we fall

Cute, Anita...I can see how chaotic it can be. Only their innocence saves them from the outside influences and it seems you are a great influence being able to see all this...and with so much patience.

Amor

This insight into your daily affairs is touching. It also clearly shows the depth of love, patience and understanding that is necessary to reach those young and impressionable minds. Blessings and love this season Anita.

... and the girls are worser!! How did my mother cope with three spirited scruffians, all within a year or so of each other? How did I survive the dunkings in the water trough; the lockings in the attic; the tricks telling me my dog was dead...?? But she did, I did... and we all do... and LOVE it! Exhausted, witless and grey, every line of face and silver strand of hair are the silver snail trails of our various Darling Angels... And we've STILL no time to shave, have we??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)) Love, Kate xx

Your love for the young ones sets you apart from a whole passle of others. The heart of a universal mother is priceless and I think of you in that fashion. All you touch are blessed.
Love,
Susan

Awwww. How I love this. Reminds me of my son singing humpty dumpty, (the song about the cannon on the wall) he saw me watching, and blushed at kinder garden.

When my son was born I felt he knew all the answers to the universe, looking like a babe prof.

Awwww I love this, even though my calling seems to be helping the youths who most see as lepers...

This is brill....
