They call out each other as they're gathering roses;
It's sad to see the petals gone by the current.
Playing around, unaware of the setting sun,
They suddenly notice the violent wind gets up.
The waves gently cup the young Mandarins,
While billows toss up Tufted ducks.
At a time like this I rely on my boat and sole oar;
Amid vast and mighty waves my feelings never rest.
