When at the very end
We leave this lump of clay,
Going straightforward
To the Celestial Office,
We realise how much
Important it always was
To enjoy to the heart's content
Our gift of poetry which
Run in our blood and which
Was bestowed on most of us
By the Potter, Carpenter,
But first and foremost,
The Poet on High. . .
Great allegory here.
