The bursting silence pierces The violet twilight; at last, The city shuts up shop. . . Gulping down another lump Of my tangled memories Together with The shameful repentance Of the passing day, I now gaze in My ash-burnt heart.

Twilight is my favourite time of day...
The hush descending on everything can draw us into a period of reflection also...
Violet is also a favourite colour of mine, so your picture is a perfect match.....

Hmmn, sounds like a bad day with these vivid images, such as "ash-burnt heart" and "tangled memories". No wonder the twilight is violet. Amazing how nature and our own inner moods display an unexpected, but truthful syncronicity. John
