Again, I am on my way out: No fetters, no restrictions. Dead calm before the storm Leaves the feeling of loss And forsakenness in the mid Of the open sea. Fighting. . . Not life but permanent strife-- Serenity is but a lovely dream That lasts from time out of mind.

the battle between serenity and strife is universal I guess. Serenity expressed here as a lovely dream, yet in the "open sea", yes, as you write, fighting. A short poem but to the point. John
