Poem Artwork

How come that each

And every occurrence

Is like a dream,

An optical illusion --

The mountain spring,

Long shadow of a tree,

A lunar eclipse,

The moonlit silver lane

On the face of a creek,

A morning dewdrop,

A flash of lightning

And a crashed thunderbolt

Stroke straight

Into one's broken heart.

Just in this sequence

We have to view them all,

One by one,

To become insightful

For a short while. . .

And this is a serious thing

That happens to us

Who read these lines

And who do not kid around.

Our dreams are a reflection from days events...help us to work out our problems and yes it is serious and many do not see...

Always,

Whoops! You got me there. I love to kid around. Thanks to modern science and information technology, all that beauty of illusion is clearly understood and admired for that and not its mystery.

Oh, yes! Each of the events and sights that you mention, natural sights that nature provides ARE like a dream. I see something in a dream but when I wake up, it's gone. A lightening bolt strikes and when I look again, it is gone but never forgotten, just as some dreams are never forgotten. Is life a dream within a dream? Hmmmmm.............. Thought provoking write providing fantastic imagery!!

Love ya!

Look for Something Good by Robert Drews

When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more. P.S. The title is listed on Amazon under Look for Something Good by Robert Drews (not by Robert H. Drews)
