I use my spread widely wings
To catch the waves of the day;
I use the whole my bodily spring
To leap up the blood-red sun!
In this biting and staggering headwind
You hear me screaming in anticipation;
Perhaps the lost melancholy will print
My steady steps on the sandy prospects!
I do believe the future will grant me
A pair of magic wings to ascend on high;
And though the pain of failure still lets me
Think in black-and-white, I firmly trust
That all the rainbow colors are in front!
