Several years ago I met this woman in my choir. After she started her business venture, we saw less and less of her. As her cafe's reputation grew,
success was just around the corner.
A few years later, she moved across the street to a bigger place. Cafe' HON and Bawlmer became almost synonymous! After my daughter was contracted to re-design the website, I got involved.
When I wrote the poem Denise loved it. Then, at the Annual HON Festival that year, I read my poem twice - In front of over a hundred people each time.
Well, that was three years ago! Much to my amazement, I just checked the website www.cafehon.com - and by golly, it's STILL there!
Please visit the site. My poem starts on the home page - click the Read On button, and Voila! To the right of the poem is a picture of Yours Truly, with the 2001 HON GIRL Winner!
Sadly, though, the poem is all "wrapped" for some reason and a tad difficult to read, and appreciate the rhyme. Hopefully, what I just edited, copied, and pasted below will AMUSE you!
I also still have a HON sticker on the bumper of my trusty steed - HONda !!!
Welcome to The Cafe' Hon!
