Not one of my best perhaps -
whipped up in about a Be-Witching Hour.

So don't be sad, don't be mad,
for a Sour Puss is SOUR!

HAVE A BITE

Copyright: 10/30/07 - Tom Hyland

It’s Quickly Approaching - FRIGHT NIGHT!
The Goblins and Ghouls a-Prowling,
The WereWolves Devouring,
The Vampires Soaring and Scowling!
All manners of Deadly Creatures,
A-waiting to HAVE A BITE!

Your Throat looks so Enticing,
Your Jugular’s in Sight,
Just tilt your Head aside, My Dear,
And I’ll Perform my Rite!

I feel your Pulse a-Beating,
Ker-thump, Ker-thump, Ker-Plop,
I’ll just take a Pint or Two,
And then Maybe… I’ll Stop!

Now my Fangs may be a-Dripping,
Crimson, or Ebon, in the Dark,
T’was so Nice to be a-Sipping,
Here with You - at Hyde’s Park!

Oh - here’s my Fiend Friend, Lon Chaney,
I’ll introduce you Now,
No Worry about Sharing You,
For he just Finished Eating - a Cow!

Oh - how Ferocious are your Jaws,
And your Mane is so Dis-Sheveled,
And how Enormous are your Paws,
No wonder you’re Be-Deviled!

Ah - There’s Morticia - a Fine-looking Witch,
Her Cauldron’s Boilng Hot!
Casting Spells -- her Niche,
So her Swill surely Will - Hit the Spot,

Ah - but Tarry just a Moment,
Don’t mind the Stench,
Here comes ITT, and Gomez,
So Whatever you Do - Don’t Speak French!

Oh - Next, here’s Casper,
The Cute and Friendly Ghost,
Nothing like his Father - the Crypt-Keeper,
For Ugliest - he’s the Most!

Welcome to our Party, Dear,
I’m sure you’ll have a Lovely Time,
My Last Guest has now Arrived,
Say Hallow to Frank N. Stein - a-Drip with Lime!

They tried to De-Compose his Body,
In fact, T’was Separated into Parts,
But the Evil Scientist Re-Arranged Him,
So, Beware his Deadly FARTS!

Sit - Relax - Light Up your Opium Pipe,
This Scrumptious Repast Will - Forever Last,
An Eternity is Yours - and that’s No Hype!
Once Bitten, you’re my Kitten, forget your Morbid Past!

Spiders and Snakes, Worms, Roaches, and Crickets,
They may be Crunchy, Lassie ---
But Will Prevent your Getting the Rickets!
Just close your Eyes as you Swallow - SEE - not so Nasty!

If you Believe, on All Hallow’s Eve,
That Incantations are the Way to Incite,
Then join our Little Covy - Don’t Leave,
Pull up a Stump - and - HAVE A BITE!

Halloween sure adds new meaning to "taking a bite". I think I'll stick to fruit and veggies, now that you've ruined my appetite for a good piece of meat. lol

That was great fun, love. I love your sweetly warped sense of humor. Thanks for the big grin I'm wearing.

In the End: Apocalyptic Poetry by Debra Kraft

In the end they'll all be dancin'--all them ones that didn't die.... Dance with me in the shadows amidst the lightning and the thunder, and all that nu-cu-lar debris. See the big bang from the other side, and then open that cellar door. Go down into
