Heck, They’re Okay! N’ That’s a Fact! So Barney Did Say! Ethics Committee? We Police our Own! A Smack on the Knuckles - Then Leave ‘em Alone! Mortgage Crisis? How Could That Be? We Made Laws - Revoked - For a Fee! Regulation? Is That Necessary? Professional CEO’s - Why Be Wary? They’re Good Ole Boys! All in Our Club! Scratch Our Backs - While in the Tub! Over-Inflated Home Values? Naw! Can’t be True! Poor Dummies Needed Homes! Then, the Banks Did Screw! Foreclosures? That Won’t Happen! They’ll Cook the Books - While We’re Nappin’! Unsafe Assets? Contamination? We Didn’t Know! Hell n’ Damnation! You Think We get Info - Behind Closed Doors? Well - We’re Just as Trusty - As Lying Moors! Wall Street Markets? The Stock Exchange? It’s All Good! Just Has The Mange! No Matter How - You May Implore Us - All is Well! ‘They’ Assure Us! Veterans Ignored? You Must be Kidding! Corporations are Good! We Do Their Bidding! Lack of Caring? Lack of Funds? Who’s to Blame? We’re Not the Ones! Here We Sit - In Ivory Towers - Unbeknowst to Us - The Economy Cowers! Jobs Lost? Sent Overseas? We Didn’t Know! We Aim to Please! Although that Aim - Is With Jaundiced Eye! We Failed the Mark - But - Darn - We Try! We Say it’s All - Just Inclement Weathers! But - Teddy Roosevelt Said - “Horse-Feathers!” Bull-Crap! Horse-Manure! In a Pig’s Eye! The Record is Untrue ! Why Would We Lie? Roll the Presses! Print Some Money! Help the Helpless CEO’s - It’s All - Really Quite Funny! Tax Credits! Tax Loopholes! Let’s Save The Rich!
