The mass is ended

Go in peace

To love and serve the Lord…

The social time begins as

The congregation begins it slow decent

Into the undercroft.

They prepare their coffee or tea, grab a cookie or two and start to pursue the gossip of the week..

Soon it is time for the vestry to slink off into

The Vicars office to do their long awaited deed..

The person is called in, told they no longer fits the mold…

Can’t tell you to leave but for your good and the good

Of the church your presence is no longer wanted here…..

Meanwhile, the congregation finishes their snacks and goes off  carrying the bulletins that reads

All are welcome…….Our parish is called by God……..to minister to all those who are in trouble, sorrow and sickness or any other adversity …..

Guess someone missed that part…….

The mass is ended….go in peace to love and serve your gods….
