on the loss of 15 years of employment...
Can I see you in the conference room for a minute? I know of no other way to say this…. Your job has been eliminated Today is your last day. We will pay you severance And pay your insurance for the Next four pay cycles. My mind is a blur… You’ll pack my things you say?? Like hell…I will do it myself thanks! What’s that…you want me to come Back another day to give People a chance to say goodbye… My mind is still a blur but I agree.. Stupid me…. You want me to make this look Like it was my idea to leave now… My poor health … Not another of your cost cutting moves. Wouldn’t want them to panic….. Two weeks later the checks came out Most of them wrong…You sent the wrong week.. Too bad….so sad….NOT Downsizing sucks… Hearing of your failures, Not so much. Susan Bergeron July 17,2009
