It is 3am and I look out my window At the parking lot and see the glimmer Of the new fallen snow And listen to the silence Of the peace In the city. It is a deafening silence Unusual to hear Until Suddenly It is broken by the Scream of sirens and flashing lights. Susan Bergeron December 20, 2009
