I am sure God was in heaven

Having the chuckle of his life

At 5am this morning.

He gave me cats

That I might know the joy

Of kids in fur coats.

I awoke from my sleep

To a tap tap tapping

And Peered over the side of the bed

To see him…the dumpster diving

Playing with the straw

From last nights drink.

What a joyful time he was

Having with the cheapest

Toy he could find

And I chuckled too.
