It is a sunny Saturday In October. There is a hefty breeze Blowing through the trees Leaves, dressed In their most colorful Ball gowns Swing and swirl Through the air Dancing like there will be No tomorrow Unaware that this Will be their last dance Of the season. When the music of the Whistling wind ends They will fall to earth To await the blanket of winter snow That will return them To their creator To reincarnate in spring. Susan Bergeron October 16, 2010

As a former Michigander, I recall the beauty you so majestically describe as being my favorite time of the year. Having called Florida home for the past 20 years, those beautiful sites are but memories. Thank you for reminding me of them. Dick

Looked good to me too. I was able to take in the beauty of which you so masterfully described, and I thank you for it. As for us folks down here in the subtropic swamps of south Louisiana, we don't get that ballet, that's why your expressive words were so pleasing to me.
