This is such a gracious poem, with lingering thoughts of the woman in the window waiting, and waiting, and . . . for what? Not a suitor of course, no, she is waiting for the precise time to play that one particular song.
Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.
