Eventually, when you are feeling up to it, go to BINGO. There are a lot of people our age at BINGO. (generally far more women than men) I guarantee you, if you are friendly and outgoing, you’ll soon find yourself in a conversation with someone who’s is familiar with everything you are going through.
Bingo people are creatures of habit. They tend to go to the same BINGO halls and sit in the same seats, so break that mold. Go to several different games and don’t sit in the same seat,,,,, (unless you have taken a liking to your immediate surroundings…. If you know what I mean)
My Sweetie and I met on Match dot com. We both had lost our spouse to cancer, which gave us some common ground to get started, but we've been together for nearly 4 years now and we've discovered lots more common ground.
Even if it's just a new friend to have an occasional meal with or go to a movie with, it's so much better than doing those things alone.... and trust me, she's out there waiting to hear from you..... when you are ready for that. For now, keep writing. Dick
