Daylight Loving Time
I set my heart ahead an hour to spend some time with you.
Please never mind the universe; it’s what I had to do-
For being here apart from you just wasn’t right at all-
So that is why I had to make the cosmic judgment call.
I had to set it back again before somebody saw-
But now I have a memory that’s keeping me in awe-
And in good time, the time that everybody thinks is real-
I will be there to catch you, and to tell you how I feel.
There may be times I find the need to try this trick again-
The way my heart’s in love with you- there’s no such thing as when.
All moments are forever in this love, so it’s no crime-
To monkey with the universe- for daylight loving time.
