Did You Know?

Did you know- when I was there
To see you face to face-
You gave a key to me- the spare
To all of Heaven’s grace?

That I was feeling all the love
That makes the angels glow-
And joined my tears with theirs above
To see you. Did you know?

A thousand dreams could never tell
The secrets that I learned
To be there in a magic spell
That only love discerned.

Did you know- that I was yours?
That Heaven let me in?
That love shined through the open doors
And let new life begin?

Did you know when our time past
You could not leave my heart?
That love this deep, this grand and vast
Would never let us part?

Do you ever wonder now
That you're the busy bee
If love will come again somehow?
