A million ways God looks at me-
And one of them is you.
We often look but seldom see
Though light keeps shining through.

I somehow learned that in your eyes
Though you don’t even try-
That miracles are no surprise
And love will show us why.

A kindness reaches everyone
Though not all folks will know.
Watching you I feel the sun-
And this is how I grow.

The times you’re smiling back somehow
Reflect a haunting dream-
That something in me will allow
A sacred love to stream.

I will keep looking all around
And at you now and then.
So thankful for the truth I found-
That God will look again.
