You Won’t.

You won’t escape, as long as I draw breath
The warm embrace of longings from my heart.
It may not be that even that called death
Could make a claim that we would be apart.

You won’t grow old with loneliness and fear,
Or dread from weakness coming on with age,
For I will be there loving you so dear-
Forget all else, accept this living wage.

For what is wealth is all that you shall know
In days like dreams when you will live with me,
And more in love is all that you will grow,
Not old, or weak, but born again- you’ll see.

So lose all thoughts that haunt your nights with dread.
Believe that God has granted you your dream.
Fear not the future, think of me instead,
All love thus far has only been a gleam

Of that which life has got in store for you,
There is a gift you have that others don’t,
You have my love and none could be more true ,
Let others fade with passing time, you won’t.
