Life’s Simple Rules


In life there are but four simple rules,
which assist you make it down the path,
they are survival’s basic living tools,
to help guide you away from the wrath.

First, always look where you’re going,
only glancing back where you have been,
the wind at you back is constantly blowing,
steadily pushing you forward to win.

Secondly, remember to always think,
will it hurt anyone, before you do,
mishaps of life occurs in a blink,
and you don’t want to be sad or blue.

Thirdly, is the golden rule of time,
treat others as you desire to be treated,
it simply could make the world so fine,
seldom followed so desperately needed.

Finally, everything belongs to someone,
so if it’s not yours, well, don’t touch it,
this rules apply to strangers and love ones,
such a wonderful world, if you do your bit.
