Given Day

Each dawn we start a new,
another chance to get it right,
days are numbered, and few,
at times to win, you must fight.

In honor roaming the earth,
stumbling and falling down,
little time until you’re dirt
enjoy the beauty that abounds.

What you see, is what you get,
magnificence mixed with pain,
but don’t quite give up just yet,
nature’s mysteries are your gain.

Life is both guess work and fears,
new and simply wonderful sights,
peace and love dry away the tears,
rest comes in the darkness of night.

Life is but to cherish and behold,
discovering happiness on the way,
in sharing, the truth does unfold,
bringing serenity by the light of day.
