Mystery


Beneath the darken sky,
shadows of silvery gray,
dance about until they die,
gone in the night they stay.

So much of life a mystery,
strange and unusual acts,
seen throughout history,
often excluding the facts.

Wandering without a clue,
searching forever in the past,
at times happy, other times blue,
things come and go, nothing last.

Looking, yet not really seeing,
unable to actually learn,
just a mere human being,
never knowing where to turn.

Life is an enigma unfolding,
filled with pleasure and pain,
there for our own beholding,
nothing to lose, but all to gain.
