Glittering in the morning light,
rainbow’s prism upon the dew,
angelic beauty of such a sight,
beneath the translucence of blue.
Blinded by society’s busy wrath,
missing the splendor of the day,
hustle and bustle upon the path,
sadly gone, never meant to stay.
Precious moments never shared,
just disappear without being seen,
if we just took the time and cared,
our society might not be so mean.
Finding refuge in a blade of grass,
simplicity soothes the mortal soul,
finally realizing nothing ever last,
the brilliance, to death grim toll.
Enjoy each moment before it fades,
let the serenity fill you every being,
the hot sun, to the cool of the shade,
for time of itself is forever fleeing.
