Nestled upon a secluded mountaintop lies a golden pond,
tucked away, sheltered from earthly sorrows and cares,
where upon a shimmering light glistens across the still water,
reflexing a prism where glorious attributes abundantly dares.
Essences of the tranquility spontaneously abound,
as shadows of the darkness linger within the night,
it is, as if, time ceases to exist upon this scenic ground,
casting an entity, a Godly presences of rapturing light.
A peaceful myth without but a single care,
radiates a forgetfulness, a loss of sight,
for we live in a radical world beyond compare,
never truly comprehending the splendor or might.
Nature bestows the truth of which we seek,
the confidence and well being one longs to grasp,
invisible to the strong and even the meek,
for our lives are spent wandering a confused and chaotic path.
If only we could reach the mountain a high,
and glaze upon the wondrous peace,
just, maybe, we could understand the reason why,
and our mire existence could find harmony, to say the least.

Your love of nature and the written word meld together, within this poem, creating an elegant tribute to both. How wonderful it is to read work by one who truly admires and respects literature.
The beautiful images painted with the words that you craft together convey effectively the message that you wish to put across to the reader. Well done. Thank you. ~Regis

You will find your mountain at the right time. Wonderful write!
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
