I've talked to other cat owners and the general concensus is they do talk...they do, I mean they really say human words...I swear, ask any cat lover...
Piercing me with her emerald green eyes Moving quickly from side to side Meticulously groomed she sets the pace The queen has entered her domain Visions of Eygpt come and go Many lives she's lived... She remembers each one Discontentment has reared it's head Her royal highness wants... Her litter box cleansed Oh, I forgot...her food is low Don't forget her water bowl Telepathy has been achieved She turns her head and says "MawMe" Now, you may think I've lost my mind I know what I heard, my hearing is fine...
Aptly named, yes indeed. I have had many cats over a period of 25 years or more, and yes they DO talk, and they DO know what cat food they want, and they DO know what turns you on ie dislikes and likes.
I believe they kill small creatures as an offering and leave them in the hallway or doorstep for your approval :)
Example, The night my water broke and I was rushing about to get ready to go into the hospital to have my Son Aaron, I near on tripped over a ruddy great big crow, dead as, in the hallway. My cat Bagheera had left it there for me. I was so busy laughing I forgot about the painful contractions.
Speaking of Bagheera, he was an Egyptian Mau. A fridge vulture and general security guard about the neigbourhood. I've read about this breed, and how the ancient Assyrians used to flog the Egyptians Cats, and put them on their own shields so the Egyptians wouldnt fire their arrows and what not at them, cunning huh, but for the love of their cats.
Your Princess is priceless, and will grow into a adorable long term companion. She's gorgeous Z and I love the write, you gave me a chuckle tonight, thanks

I believe they are very smart and do talk and communicate with humans and with us bovines as well. I love a kitten named Mittens and she talked to me with her eyes. She said she wanted some nice tuna, hold the mayo.
Anyway, I like this a lot. A very nice poem about your cat.

You haven't lost your mind, Zenith. As someone who studies them, and lives with many cats, I can attest to the fact that they do talk, and they truly do understand more than many are willing to admit.
My eldest feline princess is named Gabriella. I call her 'Gabby' since she delights in constantly squealing on me to my wife when I do something she just doesn't like; and if I give her something to eat she doesn't like, she truly gives me hell!
