We never know who may decide to pay a little visit...
Slowly and quietly you float
in and around my life
Meticulously weaving the garment
that will arrest
all pain and sorrow
Silent as the sperm that
fertilizes the egg of life
You labor day and night
like the armies of ants
Waiting until the fruit is ripe
to pluck from the tree of life
Unbeknownst to you, your fiery thorns
tattoo chambers of my heart
and soul
No one knows when your task
is completed and ready for review
Your not my friend nor my enemy
your just you...
The Angel of Death.
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
