Because I believe in magic

I believe

I believe in Fairies,
Funny you might say,
Cause I've never actually seen one,
late at night, or even during the day.

Why do I believe in Fairies,
In something I cannot see.
The answer is quite simple,
Cause I believe in magic, and things that cannot be.

My mind is full of many things,
Most are happy, yet some are sad.
But when I think of little wings,
my smile shows that I am glad.

So someday late at night,
When you really should be sleeping.
Look for fairies dancing on mushrooms,
They don’t mind a little peeking.

I believe in fairies,
All the ones I cannot see.
And I often stop and wonder,
“Do they believe in me?”
