I lay comatose,Jaded heart in dormant sleep. Frigid reality sealing me in my icey tomb. Where your heated touch cannot rouse me. Deep down,far beneath this stone fortress my tears shatter on the flagstone floors like glass. The memory of you is there Haunting me, hunting me.
My cries fall mute on walls of ice, and clawing fingers bleed ice cold blood. Wake me, shake me whisper to me with your warm liquid voice. Thaw my heart with flaming eyes of long missed passion. Let your flames lick me back to life. Rescue my soul from my loveless prison. This cage of numbess is killing me

cannot rouse me. ... may i suggest, "attempts to arouse me" because later on in the poem you requesting to be "waken and shaken" and "without the warmth of your love" ... if he "cannot rouse" you then why are you suggesting he should try ... just a small contradiction of terms ... otherwise, a very powerful poem ...

Anyway...on your poem...this is priceless. I am listening to an
extremely cold wind outside my window, making my office room feel like what you describe above...but...like you, it can never be as cold a tomb as my heart was made to feel, in my own 'disappointment.'
