Love’s do’s and don’ts can make one quiver.

Even if love makes the eagle fly with the dove,
The heart has not been always the organ of love.

Don’t look at your friend and wink
Because the answer is not what you think.
Long, long before William Shakespeare,
In literature from ye olde days of yester year,
Thinkers tried to locate love from time to time.
Some concluded it was not a figment of the mind.
To document this tale, Cupid is a good place to start.
His love arrows always penetrated a certain body part.
Love lived somewhere else before it moved to the heart.
Don’t take back your words of endearment
Like an "Indian Giver"**.
Just tell that someone special:
"I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY LIVER!"
*LSU Professor Sasek gave lengthy lectures in English Literature on the migration of love to a number of body organs. Sasek was convinced that love lived in the liver before it moved to the heart.
**An "Indian Giver" is one who gives and takes back. Thomas Hutchinson first used the term circa 1765. It may be applied to the broken promises made to the Native Americans or the indigenous practice of taking back presents which were loaned to the settlers.
