God still commands the earth, sea and sky;

He created all living things within.

    I like to think of His great imagination,

   of His humor, designs and no sin.

I often wonder at His sea and ocean life,

how varied and beautiful His creations.

From tiny cells, right up to whales,

don't you marvel at the vast variations?

Wouldn’t you have liked to see Him,

as He populated each part of the earth?

He might have laughed as he formed each kind;

each arrayed with color, and their own special worth.

Sometimes He had to laugh out loud,

when He made hippos, parrots and pink spoonbills

The fighting Beta, the hammerhead shark,

 and horses revealed His ultimate skills.

What fun our Lord most certainly had,

filling all earth with such treasures.

All have lived as they were designed,

but Man was the best by all measures.

Yes, God made Man to be higher than angels,

yet so often God’s best brings Him tears.

For Man, He has given a will of their own,

 by His grace we are saved from all fears.

Just watch TV, some animal shows, and thrill at the life in the sea.

The colors and shapes, far too many to count,

God’s heart surely had to be filled with such glee!

I like to think I can hear God’s laughter, a melody of joy for creation.

For men and women at times He’s sad. 

He prays for us all, every nation!

Just love Him and welcome Him into your heart,

let the Spirit come in and be with you.

The weight will be lifted, your spirit takes flight,

because Jesus, is the One God that’s true .
